EpiCor® is a patented dry fermentate made from fermented yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), which is now distributed by the agricultural conglomerate Cargill. As a postbiotic, it contains no live cultures. The raw material is heat-inactivated, stable for years at room temperature, and compatible with other ingredients in complex formulations. PRIME POWER contains 501 mg of EpiCor® – in the range of the clinically studied daily dose of 500 mg.

EpiCor® is not a Novel Food in the EU. Therefore, no separate Novel Food labelling requirements apply.

Status:
EpiCor® is a yeast fermentate whose EU assessment of health claims has been suspended since 2010. There is no approved health claim for EpiCor®. We explain how GUA-VITA works in our Transparency Principle.

BCM-95® Curcugreen is a patented turmeric extract from the Indian manufacturer Arjuna Natural. The patent protects a specific combination of curcuminoids and the natural essential oils of the turmeric root (ar-turmerone) – without piperine, without synthetic additives. PRIME POWER contains 201 mg of this extract.

Normal curcumin shows low plasma availability in studies on oral absorption, a known problem of turmeric supplementation. BCM-95® addresses this problem exclusively based on the turmeric plant itself and delivers turmeric with 6.93x higher bioavailability than standard curcumin: without chemical bioavailability enhancers and without piperine.

Piperine is known to influence the liver enzyme CYP3A4. It is an enzyme that is involved in the breakdown of various medications. Those who take medication permanently should discuss the intake with their doctor beforehand.

This is a legitimate question and the reason why PRIME POWER deliberately avoids piperine. Standard curcumin preparations are often combined with piperine, which inhibits the enzyme CYP3A4. This enzyme is responsible for the breakdown of many common medications and represents an interaction risk that is often overlooked.

Note on medication intake: Anyone taking medication regularly (e.g., anticoagulants, statins, or blood pressure-lowering drugs) should briefly discuss their use with their doctor beforehand.

People taking strong anticoagulants (e.g. Marcumar): Curcumin can affect platelet aggregation.

With gallstones or gallbladder problems: Curcumin stimulates bile production.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding: Curcumin doses not recommended.

In all three cases, we recommend consulting a doctor before taking it. This recommendation generally applies to all dietary supplements containing these ingredients.

A typical energy drink provides caffeine along with sugar, sweeteners, or artificial flavors. PEAK FOCUS contains 110 mg of caffeine from natural Guayusa extract. No sugar, no artificial colors.

In addition, there are three ingredients with EU-approved health claims: Caffeine contributes to an improvement in attention and concentration (EFSA claim; study basis: EFSA 2011;9(4):2054). Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance (EFSA claim; study basis: EFSA 2009;7(9):1218). Vitamin B6 contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue (EFSA claim; study basis: EFSA 2010;8(10):1759).

Since then, there has been no EU-wide approved health claim for Rhodiola, Panax Ginseng, Eleuthero, and all other plant extracts — regardless of the extent of the scientific data. This applies equally to all manufacturers in the EU.

Two rulings from 2025 definitively confirmed this: ECJ C-386/23 (30.04.2025) and BGH I ZR 109/22 (05.06.2025). Efficacy claims for botanicals are not legally permissible — not even through study references or mechanism descriptions.

"Novel Food" means: approved, but new. Citicoline was not common as a food ingredient in the EU before a formal approval procedure placed it on the EU Novel Food List (VO (EU) 2017/2470).

PEAK FOCUS contains 250 mg of citicoline per serving. The approved maximum daily amount is 500 mg in total — a maximum of two servings per day. Citicoline is not approved for food for children. Those who take medication with citicoline daily should not use PEAK FOCUS in addition.

Important: Novel Food does not automatically mean an EFSA claim. There is no EU-wide approved health claim for citicoline. GUA-VITA therefore makes no efficacy claims.

PEAK FOCUS contains 110 mg of caffeine per serving. Children, pregnant women, and breastfeeding women should not use PEAK FOCUS. Those sensitive to caffeine or who consume other caffeinated products daily should monitor their total intake.

Those taking medication containing Citicoline daily must not additionally use PEAK FOCUS – this is stipulated by the marketing authorization requirements for the contained Citicoline (VO (EU) 2017/2470). The recommended maximum daily intake is 500 mg of Citicoline in total.

For regular use of anticoagulants, MAO inhibitors, or blood pressure medication: consult your doctor before ordering. PEAK FOCUS is not a medicine. When in doubt, seek medical advice.

Due to the Citicoline content, legal regulations limit intake to a maximum of two servings per day (Regulation (EU) 2017/2470): The approved maximum daily amount is 500 mg Citicoline in total – one serving contains 250 mg. Two servings per day are the absolute maximum. More is not permitted.

The recommendation: one serving, as needed. PEAK FOCUS is designed for targeted use and not as a continuous ritual. Those who wish to take it twice a day should also note the cumulative caffeine content: 110 mg per serving, up to 220 mg for two servings.

Yes — the four concentrates are designed exactly for this purpose. PRIME POWER, PEAK FOCUS, PURE RECOVERY and NIGHT REBOOT can be combined without problems: one per day phase, each with its own intake time. There are no known interactions between the four products, provided that the individual instructions are followed.

PURE RECOVERY contains magnesium in three different compounds: magnesium citrate, magnesium lactate and magnesium bisglycinate. Together, they provide approx. 62 mg of elemental magnesium per serving, which corresponds to approx. 17% of the daily reference value.

Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, electrolyte balance and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue (EFSA claim; study basis: EFSA 2009;7(9):1216). The claim applies to magnesium as a nutrient regardless of the compound form.

Pregnant women, nursing mothers, and individuals under the age of 18 should not use PURE RECOVERY.

PURE RECOVERY contains OPC grape seed extract (150 mg) and Montmorency tart cherries (1,260 mg total). Both are listed as a safety precaution for those taking anticoagulants on a regular basis—not as a medical contraindication. Anyone taking blood thinners should consult a doctor before use. No. NIGHT REBOOT does not contain synthetic melatonin. This is a choice, not an oversight.

In Germany, melatonin at 0.5 mg and above requires a prescription. The continuous intake of external melatonin can affect the body's own production.

NIGHT REBOOT consciously avoids this. NIGHT REBOOT contains glycine (3,000 mg) as its largest single ingredient by quantity, as well as approx. 108 mg of magnesium in a triple form of citrate, lactate, and bisglycinate. Note on botanicals:

GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) is an amino acid naturally produced in the human body, where it acts as a neurotransmitter. NIGHT REBOOT contains 201 mg of GABA per serving.

The absence of a functional claim has a specific reason, which differs from botanicals. The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) is currently examining whether orally ingested GABA has a drug-like effect. As long as this examination is ongoing, no health claims for GABA are permitted in Germany. This also applies to descriptions of mechanisms and references to studies.

No. NIGHT REBOOT contains no melatonin, no benzodiazepines, and no synthetic sedatives. None of the ingredients it contains are known to have any potential for dependence when used as directed.
